  • Leads the vision, strategy, and execution for the Delivery & Change and Policy, Security & Compliance capability domains within Equinix Engineering Excellence (E3). Owns the product portfolio and long-term roadmap for the systems, workflows, guardrails, and automation capabilities that govern how software is built,validated, secured, approved, released, and audited across the enterprise.

    This leaderis responsible fortransforming fragmentedDevSecOps, governance, compliance, and release management processes into a unified, AI-native developer experience that accelerates delivery while improving security posture, operational control, and auditability.

    The role drives the strategy for standardized CI/CD experiences, policy-as-code, deployment governance, security automation, change intelligence, release orchestration, software supply chain integrity, and compliance telemetry across hybrid engineering environments.

    Acts as the single-threaded product owner for the combined capability domain strategy, executive inspection narrative, investment priorities, adoption outcomes, and cross-functional alignment across engineering, security, compliance, infrastructure, operations, and risk organizations.

    The role requires balancing speed and developer autonomy with enterprise governance, ensuring controls become embedded, automated, and developer-friendly rather than operational bottlenecks.

    Responsibilities

    Capability Domain Strategy & Vision

    Defines and evolves the long-term vision, operating model, and roadmap for the Delivery & Change and Policy, Security & Compliance capability domains, including:

    • Golden CI/CD pipelines and standardized delivery workflows

    • Policy-as-code and automated governance enforcement

    • Secure software supply chain capabilities

    • Change management automation and deployment orchestration

    • Release governance and auditability frameworks

    • Security scanning and remediation automation

    • Deployment risk analysis and intelligent approvals

    • Compliance telemetry and evidence collection

    • Developer-facing security and compliance experiences

    • AI-assisted delivery operations and governance workflows

    Establishes strategic direction aligned to Equinix engineering productivity, reliability, security, regulatory, and operational excellence goals.

    Product Portfolio Ownership

    Owns a portfolio ofDevSecOps, governance, security, and delivery platform products and capabilities, including roadmap prioritization, sequencing, dependency management, and adoption strategy.Ensurescapabilities are reusable, scalable, and embedded into the software delivery lifecycle across all engineering organizations.

    Executive Inspection Leadership

    Partners with engineering, security, and operational leaders to shape and govern the executive inspection process for the capability domains.Drives alignment between engineering velocity, operational safety, and enterprise risk managementobjectives

    Secure Developer Experience Leadership

    Representsthe needs of developers, SREs, security engineers, auditors, operations teams, and engineering managers.Partners with Voice of Developer and adoption programs to improve discoverability, usability, and trust in platform governance capabilities.

    Cross-Functional Platform Leadership

    Works across E3, Security, Infrastructure, Architecture, SRE, Compliance, Risk, and Delivery organizations to align strategy and execution.Acts as the connective layer between security requirements, operational governance, and engineering execution.

    Financial & Investment Planning

    Developsbusiness cases and investment strategies for delivery, governance, and security platform capabilities.Understands the economics of software delivery, operational risk, security remediation, and platform standardization.

    Product & Adoption Metrics

    Defines and governs KPIs for Delivery & Change and Policy, Security & Compliance effectivenessUsestelemetry and analytics to continuously improve developer workflows, governance efficiency, and operational resilience.

    Agile Product & Engineering Partnership

    Partners closely with engineering, security, and architecture leaders to define execution priorities anddeliverysequencing.Ensuresdelivery and governance initiativesremainoutcome-oriented, measurable, and aligned to enterprise priorities.

    Qualifications

    • 15+ years of experience in product management,DevSecOps, software delivery platforms, enterprise security, platform engineering, or infrastructure strategy

    • Experience leading large-scale CI/CD, governance, security, or enterprise delivery transformation initiatives

    • Strong understanding of software delivery lifecycles, operational governance, policy automation, and enterprise compliance frameworks

    • Demonstrated experience driving cross-functional alignment across engineering, security, operations, compliance, and infrastructure organizations

    • Experience building developer platform products that improve deliveryvelocitywhile strengthening security and operational controls

    • Strong executive communication and strategic planning skills

    • Experience with Agile product operating models and platform portfolio management

    • Familiarity with AI-native development workflows, policy automation, and intelligent operational governance preferred

    • Bachelor’s degree preferred
