Senior Principal Engineer, Service Delivery

We also work closely with Sales and Global Services colleagues to develop strategic account growth plans, and to identify and pursue sales opportunities.

This role is on the Lifecycle Hub Operations team within Dell Technologies Managed Services and is responsible for supporting the ongoing service deliverables with Dell Partners that support product lifecycle warehousing and logistics services and all related functions and requirements. This role serves as the support and coordination contact for a Dell service partner that provides lifecycle services in support of warehousing, forward logistics provisioning, refurbishment/repair, and end of life disposal. In addition, you’ll work with partners to ensure they meet service level requirements, attain customer experience goals, and meet financial requirements. This is a customer-focused, partnering-facing position.

What you’ll achieve:

As a Senior Principal Engineer in Service Delivery, you’ll design and deliver advanced solutions, automate operations and improve reliability. You will create documentation and handover materials for sustained success.

You will:

  • In this Lead position, responsibilities include overseeing expectations and requirements globally in EMEA, APJ and North America

  • Monitor and drive partner performance against key metrics, including timeliness, quality, productivity, inventory control, and customer satisfaction

  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to maximize the overall customer experience

  • Lead continuous process improvement initiatives to increase operational efficiency and optimize vendor performance

  • Manage reporting, data exchange, and B2B service support activities in collaboration with customers, partners, and IT teams

Essential Requirements:

  • Supply chain operations expertise with strong knowledge of forward and reverse logistics processes

  • Solid understanding of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), including capabilities and industry best practices

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Access, and similar data analysis and reporting tools

  • Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across multiple organizational levels and cross-functional teams

  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building strong relationships and delivering positive outcomes

Desirable Requirements:

  • Typically requires 12+ years of related experience in a professional role with a Bachelor's degree; or 8+ years with a Master's degree; or 5+ years with a PhD; or equivalent experience

  • AWS/Azure Associate/Professional; VMware VCP/VCAP; Kubernetes CKA/CKAD

Compensation

Dell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this position is USD $153,850 – 199,100.
