How you’ll make an impact:
Technically lead the technology and product development strategy in the areas of DC grids, distribution network, and energy storage solutions. Create innovative products, systems, and solutions in anticipation of technology and product strategy.
Oversee the implementation of the strategy and the culture required for the employees to experiment with the right resources at the right level. Introducing disruptive ideas to R&D operations and initiate technology and product development setup.
Provide technical and analytical leadership and guidance to the cross functional team including R&D
Form or be part of forming the technology / product development team and ensure team alignment with business strategy and drive performance and development. Participate in intellectual property evaluations and development of patent applications.
Prepare technical specifications and specifying laboratory test equipment and processes. Make and/or review design artefacts for products, systems, and solutions. Coordinate pilot-plant or initial production runs on new products or processes.
Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your Background:
Required master’s or PhD in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Software, or related fields) extensive experience (+15 years) in technology and product development domain from ideation and team setup to market introduction and lifecycle management.
Deep knowledge of power systems and control, with experience in one or more application areas such as industry, transport, or distribution grids related to energy transition.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across diverse interests and agendas.
Experience in devising research methods for future technical direction and future scenarios in transforming technology landscape.
Ability to communicate with and influence executive leadership to accept practices, approaches, and procedures.
Experience in leading professionals to exercise latitude and independence in assignments.
