About the Role
We are looking for Senior to Principal-level Duck Creek Engineers with hands-on experience implementing, configuring, customizing, or migrating solutions on the Duck Creek platform.
In this role, you will leverage your deep knowledge of Duck Creek and insurance technology to help design and build a custom software solution. We are looking for engineers who have worked directly with the platform and can apply their technical expertise to complex implementation and development challenges.
Responsibilities:
- Apply hands-on Duck Creek platform experience to the design and development of a custom software solution.
- Configure and customize Duck Creek functionality based on technical and business requirements.
- Contribute to platform implementation, migration, and integration initiatives as required by the project.
- Analyze existing platform capabilities and identify opportunities to extend or adapt functionality.
- Collaborate with technical stakeholders to translate requirements into practical engineering solutions.
- Troubleshoot complex platform-related issues and ensure the reliability and maintainability of delivered solutions.
- At the Principal level, contribute to technical design decisions and guide implementation approaches for complex requirements.
Requirements:
- Hands-on experience with the Duck Creek platform.
- Proven experience in the following areas: implementation, configuration, customization, or migration.
- Strong understanding of Duck Creek architecture, capabilities, and platform-specific constraints.
- Experience delivering technical solutions for insurance systems or insurance-related business processes.
- Ability to apply platform knowledge to custom software development and complex technical challenges.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently on ambiguous requirements.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with multiple Duck Creek modules, such as Policy, Billing, or Claims.
- Experience integrating Duck Creek with external systems and APIs.
- Experience with insurance platform modernization or legacy system migration.
- Experience in technical leadership, solution design, or architecture for Principal-level candidates.
