Build the Operating System of Commercial Banking
Commercial banking has historically run on relationships, manual judgment and fragmented systems
Over the next few years, that model will fundamentally change.
At Kotak’s Commercial Banking business, we are building a new generation of data products and decision systems that will reshape how lending decisions are made across underwriting, collections and commercial operations.
This effort is not about incremental analytics or dashboards.
It is about rebuilding the operating layer of the bank — the systems that determine:
The ambition is to move from manual execution to intelligence-driven workflows
Kotak is making significant long-term investments in building these capabilities, with dedicated teams across product, data engineering, analytics and data science
This is one of the first times a large commercial lending business in India is attempting this transformation at scale.
The Role
We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead the development of data-driven products that power critical lending journeys.
This role will own the product charter for key decision systems across areas such as:
You will define the product roadmap, lead cross-functional product pods, and build systems that shape how decisions are made across the business.
This is a builder role, focused on turning complex operational problems into scalable products.
What You Will Own
You will own the end-to-end development of products that influence real operational decisions.

Collections Intelligence
Products that help teams prioritize recovery actions and allocate field resources more effectively.
Underwriting Decision Support
Tools that help credit teams assess risk faster and more consistently using data and external signals.
Dealer & Customer Intelligence
Systems that identify high-value relationships and guide commercial teams toward the most impactful opportunities.
Operational Decision Systems
Products that convert fragmented operational data into structured workflows and recommendations.
These systems influence thousands of operational decisions every day across a large lending portfolio
What You Will Do
Define Product Strategy
Own the roadmap for key decision systems across the lending lifecycle.
Build Products End-to-End
Lead cross-functional pods consisting of product managers, analysts, data scientists and engineers.
Translate Problems into Products
Work closely with business teams to identify high-impact operational problems and convert them into product initiatives.
Drive Adoption
Ensure products become embedded into the daily workflows of frontline teams.
Measure Impact
Track how products influence outcomes such as credit risk, recovery efficiency and sales productivity.
