About the role | Mō te tūranga mahi
As a Senior Pricing Analyst, you will provide expert pricing and financial modelling to support ACC’s health services. You will lead pricing modelling and analysis, develop new pricing structures, and translate complex data into meaningful insights that inform procurement, commissioning, and service design decisions.

You’ll play a key role in leading pricing modelling, analysis, and framework development, contributing to improving outcomes for New Zealanders.

The appointing salary for this role is $101,287 – $119,161 based on experience and we offer an additional 9% superannuation contribution. ACC offers a comprehensive benefits package which at present includes an advantageous superannuation scheme with features like no mandatory employee contribution, optional life and income protection insurance, and flexibility to change to a locked plan at any time.

About you | Mōu
You will bring:

  • Proven experience in pricing, financial modelling, or commercial analysis within a complex environment.
  • Advanced Excel capability with experience in forecasting, scenario modelling, and sensitivity analysis.
  • Strong analytical thinking with the ability to interpret complex datasets and translate them into actionable insights.
  • Commercial acumen, including understanding of financial statements, cost drivers, and business performance.
  • Experience contributing to pricing strategies, procurement activity, or service design decisions.
  • Experience using data tools and programming (e.g. SQL, Power BI or similar) to support pricing analysis, scenario modelling, and process automation is beneficial.

  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
  • High levels of initiative, problem-solving capability, and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Finance, Economics, Commerce or a related discipline.
  • You must hold New Zealand work rights at the time of application.
