Reporting directly to the senior manager of Strategic Pricing and Margin Expansion EMEA of Commercial Operations, the pricing analyst plays a key role in enabling data-driven pricing decisions across the region. The role provides actionable insights and analytical support to drive the execution of pricing methodologies in EMEA, with a strong focus on margin protection, price governance, and consistency across countries.

This role is critical to improving the profitability of the EMEA P&L and will involve the development of pricing analysis, and insights to support commercial decision-making. The Pricing Analyst will also contribute to shaping pricing strategies and helping shift the commercial mindset towards value-based and disciplined pricing at all levels of the organization.

In this role, you will work closely with commercial, finance, Insights and enablement team and other cross-functional stakeholders to support effective pricing decisions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

List Price Management for direct and indirect markets:

  • Own and coordinate the annual list price cycle from planning through implementation, ensuring timelines, data accuracy, and readiness for go-live.
  • Prepare pricing analyses, templates, and supporting documentation to enable structured stakeholder reviews and approvals.
  • Coordinate pricing inputs and approvals across Sales Leadership, Finance, and VP-level stakeholders, ensuring full audit trail and compliance with governance requirements.
  • Manage pricing exceptions, including delayed implementations: ensure justification is captured and approvals are secured through the defined approvers.
  • Partner with Master Data and pricing operations to ensure list prices are accurately implemented in Oracle with the appropriate approval documentation stored.
  • Support enforcement of pricing discipline by monitoring guardrails such as discount thresholds, tender related exceptions and adhere to pricing policies.
  • Maintain distributor pricing inputs and reference datasets to enable review controls.
  • Develop and continuously improve pricing templates to support informed price change decisions
  • Coordinate implementation of approved price changes including update to price list in line with the pricing process

Price Discrepancy Reduction

  • Own the monitoring and reduction of PO price vs. Oracle price mismatches, using discrepancy tracking and root-cause categorization.
  • Drive corrective and preventive actions for mismatch drivers

Actionable insights & Continuous Improvement

  • Analyse price capture by Cluster and customer using the agreed EMEA methodology.
  • Monitor and analyse key pricing KPIs, including PVM, discounting, and margins provided by insights team.
  • Analyse discount matrices and recommend adjustments based on margin impact and market feasibility.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE & INTERPERSONAL SKILLS

Qualifications

  • BA/BS/MBA or advanced degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance or other relevant field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in pricing or commercial analytics preferably in the MedTech industry
  • Extensive knowledge of qualitative analysis, finance and statistics
  • Advanced knowledge of SFDC CPQ, BI tools (power BI, SFDC CRM analytics), contact management tool (Model N)

Skills:

  • Basic understanding of practices and principles of P&L profitability, pricing strategies, research and analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills (to understand customer needs and local markets).
  • Excellent written and oral communication in English, as well as excellent presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and effectively use data and data systems to capture and articulate data to key stakeholders and customers
  • Ability to work effectively within a matrix environment
  • Capability to establish and use networks to acquire information
