Job Description

For Linklaters Global Solutions Warsaw, we are currently recruiting for the Senior Pricing Advisor role.

Work arrangements:

Hybrid model work: 2 days per week from the office located next to Rondo ONZ

Contract: Employment contract with 3- month probation period

Working hours: The core working hours are between 9 -17.15

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Pricing Advisor to join our Finance function in Warsaw, playing a critical role in how we price our work and support profitable, client-focused decision making across the firm.

Working closely with Partners, Client Relationship teams and colleagues across Finance and the wider business, you will lead on developing innovative pricing propositions for complex, often global fee arrangements. You will combine commercial insight, robust financial modelling and a collaborative approach to support pricing negotiations, panel and framework agreements, and live matter pricing.

You will also play a key role in developing and sharing pricing insight across the firm. This includes creating impactful reporting and visualisations, monitoring trends in pricing and profitability, and helping to embed pricing skills and awareness among Partners, lawyers and Business Teams. You will use tools such as Excel and Tableau to build clear, concise analysis that informs strategic decision making.

This is a highly visible and globally connected role, offering variety and influence. You will work as part of Linklaters’ global pricing community and will help to drive best practice, governance and continuous improvement in pricing discipline across the firm.

Your key responsibilities

  • Develop pricing propositions that support practice groups and client teams to win profitable, strategically important work.

  • Conduct complex financial analyses and scenario modelling to establish suitable fee arrangements on global fee deals and panel/framework agreements.

  • Support Partners and Client Relationship Management with client pricing negotiations, leveraging pricing expertise and concise supporting data.

  • Monitor the expiry of existing client fee deals and project manage renewals and new client fee deals in a coherent and commercial manner, ensuring the right stakeholders are engaged and timelines are met.

  • Gather all necessary information from stakeholders to facilitate the implementation of client fee deals into our financial systems; work closely with the Process & Infrastructure team to ensure accurate set-up and resolve any outstanding items.

  • Develop best practice reports and create visualisations in Tableau, highlighting trends in pricing and profitability, and share insights with the global pricing network and wider firm.

  • Provide ad hoc and planned matter pricing support to fee earners, including live matter pricing, demonstrations of pricing tools and delivery of training or presentations.

  • Stay informed about industry trends and market conditions, monitoring competitor pricing and market developments to guide pricing decisions.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders from both practice and Business Teams to create pricing financial models that balance client needs with long-term profitability.

  • Support the implementation of governance policies and best practice in pricing discipline globally, helping to build consistency and control in how we price.

  • Manage and maintain key pricing databases and knowledge assets, including the Global Fee Deals wiki, pricing opportunity log, value trackers and content within the pricing hub.

  • Work with stakeholders to optimise profitability on matter delivery, identifying risks and opportunities and recommending improvements.

What we are looking for

You will bring strong pricing and commercial experience, ideally from a professional services environment, and be confident operating in a fast-paced, stakeholder-rich setting. In particular, we are looking for someone who can demonstrate:

  • Experience in pricing activities, including fee analysis, financial modelling and supporting (or leading) pricing negotiations in a professional services firm, preferably in the legal sector.

  • Proven experience collaborating with internal stakeholders (for example Partners, Finance, Client Relationship teams) to create commercially sound pricing solutions and financial models.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage pricing databases and conduct complex financial analyses that support best practice in pricing discipline.

  • Experience influencing commercial decision making and balancing client needs with long-term profitability.

  • The ability to create robust solutions to unique challenges, improve processes and contribute to continuous improvement in pricing.

Qualifications

  • A professional qualification such as ACCA or CIMA is preferred but not required.

Additional skills

  • Highly proficient in Excel (this will be assessed as part of the recruitment process).

  • Strong analytical skills, comfortable working with large and complex data sets.

  • Strong client-service mentality and a collaborative approach to working with stakeholders.

  • A team player who is flexible, resilient and able to work accurately under pressure and to tight deadlines.

  • Clear and confident communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial analysis in a way that is accessible to non-finance stakeholders.

  • Preferred but not required: experience with Tableau, PowerPoint and SAP-facing Excel analysis.

  • Confident using English at C1/C2 level to engage clearly and appropriately with stakeholders at all levels across the organisation, and are open to business travel a few times a year and eligible to obtain a UK visa.

You will thrive in this role if you enjoy partnering with stakeholders, solving complex commercial challenges and operating at the intersection of finance, strategy and client delivery in a global, collaborative environment.
