Job Description

The Senior Presales Architect – Cybersecurity Services is a strategic, customer-facing role responsible for designing, positioning, and articulating comprehensive cybersecurity solutions that align with client business objectives and risk profiles. This role bridges technical expertise and business acumen, working closely with sales, delivery, and product teams to develop secure, scalable, and resilient architectures across network security, cloud security, endpoint protection, identity, and managed security services. The Senior Presales Architect serves as a trusted advisor to customers, providing technical leadership throughout the sales lifecycle—from discovery and solution design to proposal development and executive presentations.

The ideal candidate brings deep hands-on cybersecurity experience, strong solution architecture skills, and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value. They lead technical discovery sessions, assess customer environments, define target-state architectures, and develop Statements of Work (SOWs), RFQs/RFP responses, and cost estimates for professional and managed security services. In this role, the architect ensures solutions are aligned with industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and vendor frameworks while remaining practical and implementable by delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead technical discovery sessions to understand customer business objectives, security requirements, and existing infrastructure
  • Design end-to-end cybersecurity architectures across network, cloud, endpoint, identity, and security operations domains
  • Act as a trusted technical advisor to customers throughout the presales lifecycle
  • Develop high-level and low-level solution designs aligned with best practices, compliance, and risk management frameworks
  • Translate complex technical solutions into clear business value propositions for executive and technical stakeholders
  • Create and contribute to RFQ, RFP, and RFI responses, including technical narratives and solution diagrams
  • Define scopes of work (SOWs), implementation approaches, and service deliverables for cybersecurity services
  • Collaborate closely with sales teams to support deal strategy, positioning, and closure
  • Provide effort estimates, pricing inputs, and risk assessments for proposed solutions
  • Conduct product demonstrations, technical workshops, and proof-of-concept activities.
  • Ensure proposed solutions are deliverable, scalable, and aligned with operational and support models
  • Maintain deep technical knowledge of leading cybersecurity vendors and platforms
  • Build and manage relationships with strategic technology partners and vendors
  • Stay current on emerging threats, technologies, and industry trends to inform solution design

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, in Business Administration, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related field is desirable.
  • Proven experience in preales, proposal management, or tendering, preferably in IT or cybersecurity services.
  • At least 10 years’ experience as an engineer in cybersecurity products (NGFW, Email, WAF etc.)
  • Familiarity with RFPs/RFIs/RFQs processes and procurement platforms.
  • Ability to translate tender requirements into clear, client-focused proposal content.
  • Collaborative, adaptable team player with a growth mindset and a strong commitment to continuous improvement and high-quality delivery.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Greek and English.
