Job Description

Senior Pre-Sales Consultant

The Pre-Sales Consultant will support the Sales Area Manager (SAM) in preparing proposals and offers for both public and private customers. The role will primarily focus on defining the technical and project-related aspects of the proposals, in line with the guidelines provided by Headquarters.

The Pre-Sales Consultant will liaise with the Global Team for the technical validation of projects, organizing dedicated meetings for each project proposal. They will also be responsible for preparing initial financial assessments, including liaising with third-party suppliers.

The Pre-Sales Consultant will support the Sales Area Manager during customer meetings whenever presentations of the proposed solution are required. In close collaboration with the SAM, they will manage the preparation of tender documentation.

The role requires the individual to stay constantly up to date on the latest developments in the AGFA portfolio by reviewing relevant documentation and participating in training sessions and meetings organized by Headquarters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide product knowledge and support to the AGFA sales team and Business Managers.
  • Identify, develop, and follow up on upselling opportunities together with the sales team.
  • Interact with new and existing customers to understand their needs and challenges, providing product consulting on the application and configuration of solutions.
  • Manage the preparation of technical and financial documentation for public and private tenders.
  • Prepare and deliver customer presentations.
  • Design solutions for AGFA HealthCare to support sales activities.
  • Prepare the documentation required for technical and commercial proposals.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest AGFA HealthCare products and solutions, as well as those offered by competitors.
  • Prepare for and support industry trade shows and represent AGFA HealthCare.

Requirements

  • University degree in Engineering (Computer Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or equivalent) and/or Computer Science.
  • At least 5 years of experience in sales or pre-sales within the healthcare IT or radiology sector is essential.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Proactive and self-driven approach.
  • Flexible and adaptable.
  • Strong self-motivation.
  • Fluent in Italian and in English.

Compensation:

Salary range 35k – 52k depending on the level of experience. bonus, company car and ticket restaurant
