
Job Title: Senior Practitioner - Safeguarding Team
Location: Thurrock
Rate: £32 per hour
Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Practitioner to join the Safeguarding Team in Thurrock.
What will your responsibilities be?
As a Senior Practitioner in the Safeguarding Team, you will be responsible for covering emergency safeguarding duty visits, ensuring swift and effective responses to urgent concerns. You will gather initial information, assess risks, and signpost individuals to appropriate services. Additionally, you will be expected to complete Section 42 safeguarding enquiries and actively participate in safeguarding strategy meetings, working collaboratively to safeguard vulnerable adults.

Qualifications and Experiences:
To be successful in this role, you must have Social Work England registration, be eligible to work in the UK, and hold a degree-level qualification in Social Work. You should have post-qualified experience in adult safeguarding, with expertise in Section 42 safeguarding enquiries, risk assessments, and multi-agency collaboration. Strong decision-making skills and the ability to respond effectively to emergency safeguarding situations are essential.
