Job Title: Senior Practitioner – Adults Team
Location: Islington
Rate: £35.59 per hour

The Islington London Borough Council is looking for a Senior Practitioner to join their Adults team, offering a pay rate of £35.59 per hour.

What will your responsibilities be?
In your role, you will manage complex cases, conduct comprehensive assessments, and design tailored care plans. You will ensure quality assurance, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to advocate for service users’ rights and well-being. Additionally, you will support less experienced social workers, develop policies and procedures, and present findings at strategic meetings. Your role is crucial in both direct practice and the development of the social work team.

Qualifications and Experiences:
To be successful in this role, you must have Social Work England registration and be eligible to work in the UK. Additionally, you should hold a full UK driving licence and possess a degree level or equivalent qualification in Social Work. You should also have post-qualified experience.
