Your role

As a key member of our German Marketing & Business Development team, you will report directly to the Head of Marketing & Business Development in Munich. You will work closely with colleagues across our offices, including marketing, business development, secretarial teams, and other business functions, as well as partners and lawyers, to deliver high-quality PR and communication initiatives, both internally and externally.

What you will do

  • Support the implementation and localization of international PR and communication strategies for the German market
  • Drive proactive media relations, including:
    • Building and maintaining relationships with journalists
    • Securing media coverage
    • Drafting press releases and thought leadership content
    • Monitoring media activity and preparing briefings and interviews
  • Coordinate and collaborate with external PR and communications agencies
  • Manage submissions to legal directories and handbooks, including overseeing ranking processes
  • Take ownership of the German website and local intranet pages, ensuring high-quality and up-to-date content
  • Work closely with the London office and international teams to ensure alignment and knowledge exchange
  • Contribute to the development and application of AI-driven approaches in PR and communications

What you bring

  • A university degree, ideally in business administration, communications, or a related field, combined with relevant professional experience
    (preferably gained in an international law firm, PR or communications agency, or corporate environment)
  • Excellent communication skills with a strong passion for writing in both German and English
  • A structured, analytical, and pragmatic working style with a hands-on mindset
  • The ambition to further develop and elevate the PR and communications function in Germany
  • A high level of initiative, reliability, and strong organizational skills, combined with the ability to work independently
