The opportunity

At Hitachi Energy, we are shaping the future of energy through innovation, expertise, and purpose. Our Power Consulting group plays a critical role in solving today’s most complex energy challenges while preparing the grid for what comes next. Operating independently from product lines, we provide unbiased, technically rigorous consulting services that help utilities, developers, and industrial customers make confident, forward‑looking decisions.

Our work spans renewable integration, grid modernization, advanced power system studies, and digitalization—supporting a more reliable, efficient, and sustainable energy ecosystem. As energy systems evolve rapidly, our consultants are trusted partners, delivering insight grounded in deep technical knowledge and real‑world experience.

This newly created role offers a unique opportunity to join a growing, highly skilled team and contribute to high‑impact projects across North America. You will collaborate with experienced consultants and global thought leaders, apply advanced analytical tools, and help design power systems that enable progress and resilience.

  • Strong technical writing and presentation skills
  • Ability to work both independently and within collaborative teams
  • Experience with AI/ML applications in power systems (preferred)
  • Knowledge of transmission planning and renewable integration (preferred)
