Job Description

In this role, you'll:


Working as part of a team delivering integrated planning, performance and governance across the Transport for NSW Renewable Energy Zone (REZ) portfolio


This role will see you provide high level portfolio coordination, analysis and advisory support, driving integrated planning, strengthening cross program alignment, and enabling informed, data driven decision making and optimisation


You will lead and enable portfolio integration, ensuring alignment of pipeline, priorities, performance and delivery sequencing in a complex, multi program environment with competing priorities, interdependencies and evolving government requirements


• Align new initiatives with existing programs, identifying interdependencies, sequencing impacts and optimisation opportunities


• Be accountable for portfolio financial management, including;

Federal and State allocations - including management of budget submissions
Management Funding release processes - Internal Gated process
Manage and track portfolio budget and expenditure


• Manage portfolio level commercial arrangements - cost recovery services


• Portfolio level accountability of the Whole of Life Cyle cost model


This is a Fixed Term Contract until 31/12/27. The home office location is 231 Elizabeth Street however regional based candidates are highly encouraged to apply.

About you


Your strong portfolio management, analytical and stakeholder engagement skills formed across complex infrastructure, government or program delivery environments will see you excel in driving integrated planning, navigating interdependencies, and delivering high quality insights to support strategic decision making and portfolio optimisation.

You’re recognised as a trusted advisor and influencer, skilled at synthesising complex data, managing competing priorities and aligning stakeholders, experienced in leading complex programs, delivering outcomes in multidisciplinary environments, and building effective relationships across all levels.
