As a Senior Portfolio Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in managing and supporting a diverse portfolio of asset information initiatives that advance Transport’s strategic objectives. You’ll provide high-level coordination and business support services to ensure smooth portfolio operations, working closely with senior leaders and stakeholders to deliver outcomes that make a real difference for communities across NSW.

In this role you’ll:

• Coordinating portfolio documentation, reporting, and evaluation to ensure quality information is accessible.


• Monitoring project progress, identifying emerging issues, and providing insights to inform decision-making.


• Delivering advice and operational support across HR, finance, procurement, and business processes.


• Managing requests from senior offices and ensuring timely, high-quality responses.


• Facilitating stakeholder engagement through working groups, committees, and consultations.

About you:

You’re a proactive and collaborative professional with strong organisational and analytical skills. You thrive in dynamic environments, can manage competing priorities, and communicate complex information clearly. Your ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders will help you succeed in this role.


To succeed in this role, you will have:


• Tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent professional experience in portfolio or project coordination.


• Proven experience in an asset intensive organisation and with asset information initiatives.


• Proven ability to establish networks and maintain effective working relationships.


• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to tailor messages for diverse audiences.


• Experience in planning, prioritising, and delivering results within tight deadlines.


• Sound understanding of technology and project management principles.
