Today, we offer the only fully integrated platform that allows every part of an investor's wealth to be managed in one place. Managing over $63 billion in funds under administration (and growing) for leading institutions and private wealth firms, we deliver innovative technology and exceptional service to our clients.

We pride ourselves on empowering advisers to efficiently manage the wealth of people in Australia. Join us on our mission to redefine wealth platforms and help shape the future of financial services.

The Role

We are seeking a Senior Portfolio Analyst for our Scope+ team at Praemium. In this role, you will leverage your technical expertise in portfolio administration and reconciliations to manage complex escalations and ensure accurate portfolio outcomes. Your deep knowledge of financial products, domestic and international assets, and portfolio reconstructions will establish you as the team’s go-to expert for complex portfolio issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the accurate administration of client portfolios, including reconciliations of cash and asset reports, portfolio reconstructions, corporate actions, and alternative investments.
  • Act as the escalation point for complex client and internal queries. Conduct thorough investigations, identify root causes of discrepancies, and implement solutions.
  • Identify opportunities to improve administration processes and contribute to the development of best practice standards.

Desired Qualifications, Experience and Competencies

  • Tertiary qualification desirable.
  • 3+ years in a middle office, custody, or funds administration environment.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with portfolio administration, reconciliations, corporate actions, and alternative investments.
  • Proven ability to manage and resolve complex escalations and portfolio issues.
  • Exceptional technical expertise in portfolio administration and asset reconciliation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and financial reporting tools.
  • Deep understanding of domestic and international assets, corporate actions, portfolio reconstructions, and Capital Gains Tax implications.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality outcomes.
  • Ability to act as a subject-matter expert and trusted resource for complex portfolio issues.
  • Proactive, collaborative, and client-focused mindset.

What We Offer

  • Flexible hybrid work environment—split your time between home (3 days) and the office (2 days – typically Wednesday and Thursday).
  • Competitive salary with annual performance incentives (bonus).
  • Comprehensive leave benefits, including paid parental leave and purchased leave options.
  • Access to novated leasing and financial wellness courses.
  • Professional development opportunities tailored to your growth.
  • End-of-trip facilities at 367 Collins Street
