The destination comprises several distinct sites featuring five-star hotels, luxury private residences, a world-class golf experience, and many year-round activities. Navarino Dunes is home to The Romanos, a Luxury Collection Resort, The Westin Resort Costa Navarino and Costa Navarino Residences. Navarino Bay is the setting for Mandarin Oriental, Costa Navarino, W Costa Navarino and Navarino Agora, a curated marketplace. Both sites have signature golf courses, while at Navarino Hills there are two further signature golf courses.

Costa Navarino is looking for a Pool Team Leader. The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance, cleaning, and overall operation of more than 85 private swimming pools. This role involves managing a team of 2 pool technicians and 8 pool cleaners, ensuring that all pools are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and functionality. The Pool Team Leader ensures compliance with all health and safety regulations, maintains equipment, and provides excellent service to the property owners and guests.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and coordinate the daily activities of the pool maintenance team (2 technicians and 8 cleaners).
• Ensure all pools are regularly cleaned, treated, and maintained in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Conduct regular inspections of all pools, equipment, and surrounding areas to identify any maintenance or safety issues.
• Collaborate with the technical department for repairs or replacements of pool equipment and ensure that water quality meets regulatory standards.
• Prepare and manage work schedules for the team, ensuring efficient coverage and timely completion of tasks.
• Maintain inventory and ensure the availability of necessary chemicals, tools, and equipment for pool maintenance.
• Provide training and guidance to team members on proper maintenance techniques and safety protocols.
• Monitor and manage water quality (pH, chlorine levels, etc.) to ensure optimal conditions.
• Respond to any issues or complaints from property owners or guests regarding pool maintenance.
• Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, water testing results, and pool equipment status.
• Ensure the proper functioning of pool filtration systems, pumps, and heaters.

Requirements

• Proven experience in pool maintenance and team leadership.
• Knowledge of swimming pool systems, including filtration, heating, and water treatment.
• Previous experience managing multiple pools in a hotel, resort, or large residential complex is preferred.
• Knowledge of basic plumbing and electrical systems related to pools is desirable.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to swimming pools.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if necessary.
• Relevant certifications in pool operation and maintenance (e.g., Certified Pool Operator).
