We are looking for an experienced and highly organized Senior Project Manager – AI to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of AI-driven projects. The ideal candidate will combine strong project management expertise with a solid understanding of Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, machine learning, and data-driven products.
You will work closely with product, engineering, data science, design, and business teams to translate business requirements into actionable project plans and ensure AI initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and to the expected quality standards.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end project delivery for AI and technology initiatives, from requirements gathering and planning through execution, launch, and post-production improvements.
- Define project scope, objectives, milestones, timelines, dependencies, deliverables, and resource requirements.
- Collaborate with AI/ML engineers, data scientists, product managers, developers, designers, and business stakeholders to drive project execution.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, sprint schedules, roadmaps, and delivery trackers.
- Manage cross-functional teams and ensure clear ownership of tasks, deliverables, and deadlines.
- Understand AI project lifecycles, including data preparation, model development, experimentation, evaluation, deployment, monitoring, and iteration.
- Work with technical teams to track AI model development, API integrations, data pipelines, automation workflows, and Generative AI applications.
- Identify project risks, technical dependencies, resource constraints, and delivery bottlenecks, and proactively develop mitigation plans.
- Facilitate regular project reviews, stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and stakeholder updates.
- Translate complex technical concepts and AI capabilities into clear business requirements and actionable project plans.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to prioritize requirements and manage scope changes throughout the project lifecycle.
- Track project performance against timelines, budgets, quality expectations, and agreed business outcomes.
- Establish effective communication channels and provide regular progress reports to senior leadership.
- Support product teams in defining measurable success metrics and evaluating the impact of AI initiatives.
- Ensure appropriate documentation of requirements, decisions, processes, technical dependencies, and project outcomes.
- Drive continuous improvement in project execution methodologies, processes, and team collaboration.
Must-Have Skills
- 4–7 years of experience in project/program management, preferably in technology, SaaS, software, or AI-driven environments.
- Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts and AI product development lifecycles.
- Hands-on experience managing AI, Generative AI, automation, data, or machine-learning projects.
- Strong project planning, execution, prioritization, and delivery management skills.
- Experience working with cross-functional technical and business teams.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, competing priorities, risks, and dependencies simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Good-to-Have Skills
- Experience with Generative AI, LLMs, NLP, computer vision, AI agents, or RAG-based applications.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Exposure to tools such as Jira, Confluence, Notion, Asana, or similar project management platforms.
- Understanding of APIs, data pipelines, model evaluation, and AI deployment workflows.
- PMP, Scrum Master, Agile, or equivalent project management certification.
