Planning & Value Management Specialist

We’re looking for a Planning & Value Management Specialist to play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence across Arqiva. This is a high-impact position where you’ll lead process improvement initiatives, embed strong governance frameworks, and enable smarter decision-making across the organisation.

You’ll sit at the heart of our Value Management Office (VMO), helping ensure we maximise the commercial value of our site portfolio—central to how we deliver for our customers.

Plus, you’ll play an integral role in protecting the commercial value of Arqiva’s sites - a critical part of how we deliver for our customers.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Own and manage process performance and governance frameworks within the VMO
  • Lead process improvement initiatives to streamline delivery, eliminate inefficiencies, and drive measurable value
  • Support key change and transformation initiatives, ensuring governance and processes evolve effectively during periods of organisational change
  • Establish and maintain robust governance, policies, and procedures to support transparency and accountability
  • Analyse data from multiple sources (process observations, stakeholder feedback) to identify trends and opportunities
  • Evaluate existing processes to uncover gaps, risks, and improvement areas
  • Apply strong quality control and validation practices to ensure accuracy of outputs
  • Support and coach the Process & Governance Coordinator, helping to build capability within the team

What We’re Looking For

You’ll be someone who thrives on improving how organisations operate and enjoys working with both data and people.

Core Skills

  • Strong focus on operational excellence and continuous improvement
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Proven ability in governance, process design, and optimisation
  • High attention to detail with a structured, analytical mindset
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking capability

Experience & Knowledge

  • Solid understanding of project governance frameworks and PMO practices
  • Experience applying project management principles to deliver change initiatives
  • Familiarity with risk and issue management, including mitigation strategies
  • Proven ability to analyse and interpret data to drive decision-making

Qualifications

A recognised certification in project or programme management is preferred, such as:

  • PRINCE2
  • PMI / PMP
  • APM
  • MSP
