Talents Tide is looking for an experienced Senior Planning Engineer to join one of our esteemed clients on a major project. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in project planning, scheduling, and progress monitoring within engineering and construction environments.
Prepare baseline project schedules in compliance with contract requirements using Primavera P6
Review, integrate, and manage schedules related to Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication, Construction, Pre-commissioning, and Commissioning activities.
Monitor project progress and update weekly and monthly schedules based on actual execution.
Develop project planning deliverables including WBS, manpower histograms, S-curves, productivity reports, and resource-loaded schedules.
Track the critical path, identify schedule risks and delays, and propose mitigation plans to management.
Perform delay analysis and prepare EOT justification reports in line with contractual requirements.
Coordinate with procurement and planning teams to monitor long-lead items, vendor schedules, and material availability to prevent delays.
Prepare and present weekly and monthly progress reports to management and clients.
Ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and internal planning procedures.
Support cost control and budget tracking teams by providing forecast-based schedules and validating progress.
Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
Proven experience as a Planning or Senior Planning Engineer in EPC, construction, or infrastructure projects.
Strong proficiency in Primavera P6
Solid understanding of project controls, scheduling, and reporting methodologies.
