Come Drive Innovation with Us. We are currently looking for a Sr. Planner, Direct Marketing (CRM) to join our team in Franklin, TN.


The Sr. Planner, Direct Marketing supports loyalty and product marketing initiatives that drive customer engagement, loyalty, and sales performance.
This role is responsible for the day-to-day planning, coordination, and execution of direct marketing campaigns across multiple channels. Responsibilities include campaign setup and management, creative reviews, HTML and technical QA, deployment coordination, reporting support, and ongoing process management. This is a high volume, fast paced role suited for high performers who thrive in environments requiring strong project management, cross-functional collaboration skills, and hands on execution.
Working closely with the CRM Manager and internal stakeholders, this role helps ensure campaigns are delivered accurately, on time, and aligned with business objectives and brand standards.

A Day in the Life:

  • Partners with the CRM Manager to build direct marketing strategy and execute multi-channel, multi-touch campaigns that drive sales, loyalty, and engagement.

  • Manages the day-to-day execution of direct marketing initiatives across email, direct mail, digital, and in-app channels.

  • Reviews and approves creative deliverables for brand consistency, accuracy, version control, compliance with briefs, and alignment with direct marketing best practices.

  • Coordinates campaign deliverables with internal stakeholders including Marcom, CMM, Product, C360, C&I, Legal, Aftersales, NMAC/IFS, CCS and INFINITI CRM

  • Support the implementation of customer communication journeys by ensuring assets, approvals, timelines, and dependencies are managed effectively.

  • Conduct HTML, technical, and campaign quality assurance reviews to ensure accuracy prior to deployment.

  • Partners with internal teams and external agencies to ensure efficient collaboration through status, integration, and review meetings, providing ongoing guidance and support.

  • Manages Tier 1 creative agency workflow, including creative development, production coordination, timelines, and adherence to Nissan brand and Visual Identity guidelines.

  • Supports Regional and Tier 2 direct marketing programs through creative reviews, governance, and integration with Tier 1 initiatives.

  • Works closely with the Sr. Data Analyst to understand campaign reporting and performance results, helping to identify opportunities for future campaign optimization.

  • Recommends experience and journey enhancements informed by customer insights, competitive analysis, and data-driven marketing principles to optimize multi-touch communications across mail, email, digital, and in-app channels.

  • Maintains a strong understanding of target customers, competitive advertising, and industry trends to critically evaluate and strengthen campaign concepts.

  • Performs additional related duties as needed to support the broader CRM and loyalty ecosystem.

Who We’re Looking For:

Required:

  • Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills with strict attention to detail.

  • Excellent project management skills—plans, schedules, and manages projects through implementation, making decisions independently.

  • Ability to independently navigate complex workflows and make strategic decisions.

  • Skilled at effectively prioritizing workload, managing multiple high-volume projects simultaneously, and pivoting quickly based on changing direction.

  • Solid understanding of marketing principles with strong creative instincts.

  • Ability to influence and work cross-functionally across diverse teams and stakeholders.

  • Analytical and data driven—leverage consumer insights and data to identify opportunities and prioritize efforts.

  • 7+ years of marketing experience at a professional level.

  • Knowledge of direct marketing, CRM, and project management.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related discipline.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, OneDrive) and Adobe Acrobat.

  • Comply with Nissan Corporate and Nissan Marketing’s in-office attendance policy—currently four in-office days and one remote day per week—subject to change.

Desired:

  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Photoshop experience

  • Monday.com experience

  • Automotive experience preferred but not required.
