This is not your typical planning role within local government.
Positioned within our Commercial Services team rather than a traditional planning function, this unique opportunity allows an experienced planner to apply their expertise across commercial land development, asset activation initiatives and strategic land transactions. You'll play a key role in unlocking value from Council-owned assets while contributing to projects that create lasting benefits for our community.
Our team is delivering some of the city's most exciting and high-profile initiatives, including supporting PsiQuantum's world-first utility-scale quantum computing project, progressing the ongoing activation of the Moreton Bay Central precinct, and leading a comprehensive program to identify and realise opportunities across Council's land portfolio.
As the dedicated planning specialist within the team, you will provide trusted strategic advice and work closely with the Manager Land and Building Development to deliver innovative land and property outcomes aligned with Council's priorities.
