Senior Planner (all genders)

Your future tasks:

Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of project scheduling activities across assigned offshore wind projects, from early development through execution, commissioning, and handover. Define and ensure compliance with scheduling strategies, methodologies, tools, corporate standards, project procedures, and schedule governance requirements. Create, assign, and manage project calendars, including weather downtime calendars, project resources, and activity codes. Contribute to the development and improvement of PMO processes, tools, templates, and lessons learned related to scheduling. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior scheduling staff and coordinate scheduling efforts across teams and work packages.Provide schedule performance reports, analyses, forecasts, and recommendations to project and senior management, ensuring alignment with approved baselines, critical-path objectives, and management priorities. Develop, maintain, integrate, and control detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar tools, where required. Establish, maintain, and govern approved schedule baselines and oversee the implementation of approved schedule changes through the project change-control process. Perform regular schedule quality assessments covering logic, constraints, calendars, open ends, float, critical and near-critical paths, and overall schedule integrity. Monitor actual and forecast progress against approved baselines, validate reported progress, and identify deviations, emerging risks, opportunities, and required corrective actions. Prepare and assure schedule reports, including S-curves, milestone tracking, look-ahead schedules, float analyses, critical and near-critical path reviews, and schedule narratives. Support quantitative schedule risk assessments (QSRA) and scenario planning activities. Support the assessment of delays, contractor claims, extension-of-time submissions, and other time-related contractual matters, where applicable. Review, analyse, challenge, and provide comments on contractor schedules. Align and integrate contractor schedules into the overall project master schedule based on the agreed Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and scheduling strategies. Facilitate coordination and alignment between permitting, procurement, technical, commercial, and construction teams on schedule-related matters. Lead or support scheduling meetings with internal stakeholders and external partners, including lenders and investors.

Your profile:

Degree in engineering (e.g., civil, mechanical, electrical, or industrial) or a related technical field. Minimum 5 years of professional experience in planning and scheduling for large-scale infrastructure or offshore wind projects. Proven experience leading schedule development in multidisciplinary, international project environments. Proficient in Primavera P6, MS Project, and MS Excel; knowledge of quantitative schedule risk analysis tools is beneficial. Strong understanding of project life cycles, critical path methods, resource planning, baseline and change control, progress measurement, forecasting, and schedule risk management. Strategic thinker with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Capable of managing schedules across multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. Effective communicator with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders across levels and functions. Fluent in English (spoken and written); additional languages are a plus. Willingness to travel as needed.
