We are currently looking for a Senior Planner. The purpose of the role is to plan and manage a profitable product range based on historical, trend and customer/store analysis in line with the Company's strategy. This position will be based at our head office in Durban.
Requirements:
- Matric (Grade 12).
- Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business Management or any relevant tertiary qualification.
- 5 years of Retail Planning experience in a Clothing Retailer.
- Computer literacy (Excel and MS Office) as well as experience in Dolphin.
- Strong numerical and analytical ability.
Responsibilities:
- Review sales performance of stores on a daily basis.
- Order management – ensure that orders arrive on time and are allocated to the correct stores.
- Partner with the Buyer to develop a product strategy.
- Complete pre-allocations and action new allocations daily.
- Monitor and analyse performance to determine the necessary action required to maintain or improve.
- Provide updated trade reports during weekly meetings.
- Track and review stock levels required for new store openings.
- Review and adjust future forecasts (all KPI's) at Range level based on current and historical performance.
- Share revised OTB sheet with buyer if OTB has changed.
- Review weekly delivery flow to ensure that deliveries are spread out evenly throughout the month.
- Mentor and Coaching of Juniors in the Team.
- Store visits.
