UGL’s in-house engineering and design capability, together with our strong project delivery and operations and maintenance expertise puts us in a strong position in the market. Our target project opportunities include Solar, Battery Energy Storage Systems, and Wind Projects, as well as Hydrogen and Ammonia projects.

The UGL Energy & Industrial team is seeking an experienced Senior Planner in WA & NSW to join our team.

ABOUT THE POSITION ON OFFER
We’re looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Planner to join our team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in coordinating schedules, managing workflows, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and to the highest standard. If you excel at problem solving, thrive in fast paced environments, and enjoy bringing structure to complexity, we’d love to hear from you.

Your duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and schedules.

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate forecasting and resource allocation

  • Monitor progress and proactively identify risks, delays, or obstacles

  • Prepare regular updates, reports, and planning documentation

  • Support data analysis and decision-making to enhance operational efficiency

  • Maintain strong communication with stakeholders to keep processes aligned and on track


    Your skills and experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree or vocational training in engineering or construction planning.

  • Strong communication, organisational, and analytical skills

  • Solid understanding of contract management, delay analysis, and program-based claims.

  • Proven experience across site-based planning and scheduling

  • Proficiency in planning tools (Primavera P6, Powerproject, MS Project) and related software (QSRA, MS Office, Visio, CAD, 3D/4D)

  • Commercial awareness and knowledge of standard contracts
