Job Description

What you’ll do

  • Prepare resource and cost loaded detailed project delivery schedules, modelling key interfaces, for allocated projects/work packages that accurately reflect the conditions of the contract, design and specifications

  • Develop Basis of Schedule, incorporating head contract obligations and requirements with a time, or schedule reporting, impact and delivery sequencing methodologies and constraints, as the foundation for developing the tender schedule

  • Manage project concerns and expectations of both internal and external stakeholders

  • Attend construction methodology workshops, risk reviews and risk workshops, to analyse and consider sequencing and methodologies in the schedule

  • Liaise with Client counterparts, where necessary, to ensure Client’s reasonable expectations are addressed, within the bounds set by the Contract

  • Lead schedule updates & reviews with input from construction team, procurement, design and package leads

What we’re looking for

  • Ability to work on a FIFO arrangement, flexible rosters can be considered

  • Tertiary qualification – Degree, or equivalent, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or Construction Management or Project Management preferred

  • Power projects exposure is desirable within substations and the transmission line division

  • A proven track record of attention to detail, accuracy, and taking full ownership of scheduling issues

  • Highly skilled in scheduling using Primavera P6, with the ability to develop, maintain, and optimise complex project programs, supported by practical Power BI experience for enhanced reporting and visualisation

  • At least 10 years prior Project Scheduling experience

  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of CPM scheduling concepts and delay analysis techniques

  • Proven experience in preparing and managing extension of time claims and delay analysis
