We are seeking a talented individual to join our team at Marsh. This role will be based in Bermuda This position requires full-time onsite.
The Senior Placement Representative is responsible for assisting with the placement process working alongside a team of brokers, client advisors, placement specialists and clients. This role performs a full range of administrative, fiscal, staff support, and planning duties including, but not limited to, maintaining records, invoicing client premiums, credit control, fee allocation, billing additional and return premiums, and any other administrative tasks that supports the placement process.
We will count on you to:
Prepare documentation and submissions for market, including specifications, loss records and summary reports for the Broker to better serve clients.
Analyze and collect quotes for the Broker, compare quotes for markets, review existing client insurance and risk programs and prepare proposal components to better serve clients.
Ensure timely and accurate processing of necessary documentation and follow up on outstanding documentation with the appropriate party to ensure the smooth continuation of the Placement process.
Monitor follow-up for changes from underwriters and the review of coverage specifications to be submitted to carriers/underwriters to ensure they are accurate.
Drive and maintain carrier contact at appropriate levels needed to execute assigned tasks effectively and assist the Broker.
Maintain a thorough technical understanding of the Placement business to better assist the Broker.
Ensure the fiscal tasks of a placement are processed timely, tracked, and accurately received. These include, but are not limited to, premium invoices, credit control, fee allocation, billing additional and return premiums.
Ensure key stakeholders are included on fiscal matters and escalations as appropriate.
Act as an expert in the Placement support process, provides assistance and training to colleagues when appropriate.
What you need to have:
6+ years recent experience in a similar role as an individual contributor
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites with exceptional organizational skills and critical attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to manage changing priorities, work independently, and within a team
Strong interpersonal skills including superior written and oral communication, with flexibility to occasionally work outside normal hours
