The Senior Piping Engineer coordinates the development and delivery of complete piping systems for the SMR projects. A Senior Piping Engineer will integrate the piping activities from the development of the P&IDs by System Engineering, through the layout performed by Design Development, the stress analysis & piping support engineering performed by Applied Mechanics, solicit input from Materials Specialists on the selection of piping materials, the Welding Engineer on any special welding requirements, work with Procurement for the purchase of the piping systems including managing technical issues with vendors, and work with Construction on piping related issues during planning and actual construction.

Important Eligibility Requirement: This position involves work subject to U.S. Department of Energy regulations under 10 CFR Part 810. Candidates must be legally eligible to obtain authorization to work with certain nuclear technologies and technical information. Eligibility will be evaluated as part of the hiring process.
