Wood is recruiting for an Omani Senior Pipeline Designer to join our team in Oman, focusing on delivering across FEED and Detail design scopes of work.
In this role the Senior Pipeline designer will be responsible for developing pipeline design drawings and documents.

Typical responsibilities
- Works closely with Pipeline Engineers /designers and other discipline engineers in the delivery of project engineering/construction deliverables, quality control drawings and overall project support.
- Implement hand marked-up changes to drawings.
- Maintain standard drawing templates.
- Follow/ensure Quality Management System Requirements are met in line with ISO 9001-2015 and API Q2 2nd edition.requirements
- Provides quality assurance reviews and detailed checking support.
- Maintain and monitor drawing development progress.
- Meet project commitments and deliver to schedule.
- Identify & implement process improvement to reduce cycle time & cost.
- Time write correctly each week.

- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 8 year’s experience in Oil & Gas Piping Design with 3 years’ experience in ACAD / 3D PDMS Design system
- Minimum 5 year in Front End Engineering Design (FEED)/ Engineering Experience.
- Fluent in English, written and spoken
