Our Physiotherapy team at Exeter Hospital currently have an opportunity for a Senior Physiotherapist. This role will mainly be based in musculoskeletal outpatients but will also include some cover working with inpatients on the ward (Orthopaedics & General Surgery).
As part of the team you will have clinical support available from your Regional clinical lead along with a team of experienced Physiotherapists and leadership from the management team on site. You will have a CPD budget to encourage you to continue your learning and striving for clinical excellence.
This role is on a permanent basis and we have up to 37.5 hours per week available. Both full time and part time applications will be considered.
The role will primarily be in musculoskeletal outpatients with some inpatient work covering orthopaedics and some general surgery. The hours available are flexible.
You will see a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions and post-operative cases, playing a key role in helping our patients achieve, maintain and recover to the level of health and wellbeing that they aspire to.
You will work within a multidisciplinary team including nurses, AHPS and consultants in order to optimise the health and recovery of our patients.

The Exeter Nuffield hospital is based next to the NHS RD&E hospital in Wonford, Exeter. Exeter is a vibrant cathedral city in the heart of the beautiful county of Devon, situated on the river exe and only 10 miles from the coast. The hospital has 2 theatres, as well as a hybrid cardiac catheter laboratory/theatre and an Endoscopy suite. There are two ward areas: an inpatient area with 21 beds and a day-case ward with 12 beds. We also have a busy outpatient department, health assessment service, pharmacy, physiotherapy, and radiology department including an MRI scanner. We specialise in elective orthopaedic and spinal surgery, cardiology including invasive procedures, general surgery, plastics and cosmetic surgery, ENT and gynaecology. The Hospital has a MAKO robot that undertakes some of the joint replacement surgery which we have become well known for.
