QinetiQ US is seeking an Senior Physical Security Specialist to support a customer located in the Chantilly, VA area. The Senior Physical Security Specialist will work within the Office of the Secretary of War and across the Dow to assist, advise and management a 7500Sqft office space. Ideal candidates must have at least 10 years of experience with with Fixed Facility Checklists (FFC) compartmented area checklists, TEMPEST, ICD 705 Tech Specs, access control systems (technical and policy aspects).

Responsibilities

  • Successful candidates should be proficient in Intelligence Community Directive 705, 705--1, 705-2, IC Tech Spec and DoDM 5105.21, Volume 1
  • Individuals will be responsible for writing, editing and implementing a construction plan in support of upgrading current non-ICD705 compliant facility into compliance
  • Assist in planning and managing the overall efficiency and effectiveness of sensitive compartmented information facilities (SCIF) accreditation and oversight operations
  • Identify new and alternative locations for personnel relocation during renovation and work with facilities management organization
  • Responsible for providing all the support documentation and physical facility requirements for facility accreditations, re-accreditation and de-accreditation of a multi-mission partner facility across both DoD and IC partners.
  • Drafting, reviewing, and maintaining internal policy documents, Standard Operating Procedures and instructional handouts pertaining to Physical and Industrial Security
  • Coordinate with the security system integrators to oversee installation and upgrades to existing access control, intrusion detection, and closed-circuit television (CCTV) systems.
  • Serve as the primary interface to accrediting authorities for all facility and security system upgrades necessary to maintain the integrity of the Government's SCIF accreditation.

Required Qualifications

  • TS/SCI CLeared ; # qinetiqclearedjob
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the security field with recent physical security experience
  • Experience supporting and providing physical security support to a multi-tenant facility

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree
  • SCIF/SAPF construction a plus
