Job Description

Logiscenter by Levata is launching a strategic greenfield initiative to modernize our legacy TrueView RMA & Asset Management platform, used by thousands of customers to manage assets, service tickets, and maintenance contracts.

The core objective is to decouple a tightly coupled Magento 2 module and transform it into a standalone, scalable, API-first application, built with modern technologies and engineering best practices.

This is not a maintenance role You will be designing and building a production-grade system from scratch, defining the architecture and technical foundations that will support the platform for years to come.

Tasks

• **Build** the core application using Laravel 11 and PostgreSQL
  - **Design and implement** RESTful APIs serving React frontends
  - **Lead technical decisions** on architecture, design patterns, and technology choices
  - **Establish best practices** for testing, documentation, and code quality
  - **Integrate** with external systems (NetSuite SOAP, Service Now REST, Magento API)
  - **Optimize** database queries and application performance
  - **Collaborate** with product owners, QAs, and DevOps team

This role offers **significant autonomy and ownership** - you'll be a key voice in how we build this platform.

Requirements

**Backend (Must-Have)**:
- ✅ **5+ years of PHP development** experience (PHP 8.1+ required)
- ✅ **3+ years with Laravel** (version 8+, Laravel 11 strongly preferred)
- ✅ **Strong understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, and design patterns**
- ✅ **Expert-level SQL skills** (PostgreSQL experience preferred, MySQL acceptable)
- ✅ **RESTful API design and development**
- ✅ **Experience with Eloquent ORM** and database optimization
- ✅ **Authentication & Authorization** (OAuth, JWT, role-based access control)
- ✅ **Git version control** and collaborative workflows (pull requests, code reviews)
- ✅ **Unit and feature testing** (PHPUnit, Pest)

**Frontend**:
- ✅ **Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript**
- ✅ **Experience with React** (Nice to have, not mandatory)
- ✅ **API integration** (REST, GraphQL)
- ✅ **Responsive design** principles
- ✅ **Modern CSS** (TailwindCSS or similar utility frameworks)

**Architecture & Patterns Understandings**:
- ✅ **Domain-Driven Design (DDD)** fundamentals
- ✅ **Repository pattern** and service layer architecture
- ✅ **Event-driven architecture** experience
- ✅ **CQRS pattern** (bonus, not required)
- ✅ **Microservices architecture**
