Role

We are looking for a Senior PHP/Laravel Developer to develop and maintain high-quality, scalable software solutions within a public-sector environment. You will work closely with the development team on innovative applications, including a tool for salary budget forecasting and reporting

Responsibilities

• 
  Develop and maintain applications using PHP and Laravel
• 
  Build modern front-end interfaces with Tailwind CSS and Livewire
• 
  Design, manage and optimize MySQL databases
• 
  Contribute to software architecture and code quality.
• 
  Write, test, debug and optimize code.
• 
  Work with Git/Bitbucket, AWS and Filament
• 
  Collaborate with developers and business stakeholders.
• 
  Support Agile development and contribute to continuous improvement.
• 
  Coach developers and provide technical guidance when required.

Requirements

• 7+ years of PHP experience
• 7+ years of Laravel experience
• 7+ years of MySQL database design and administration
• 
  Strong experience with Tailwind CSS and Livewire
• 
  Experience with Git/Bitbucket, AWS and Filament
• 
  Strong coding, testing and debugging skills.
• 
  Experience with Agile methodologies
• 
  Experience leading or coaching development teams is a plus.
• Dutch C2/native-level proficiency.

Work arrangement: Hybrid, with at least 1 day per week in Brussels
