Purpose of Role/Summary:

The PHP Laravel Developer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining back-end solutions that power web-based platforms (websites, CRM systems) and mobile applications. You will develop APIs, manage data flows, and collaborate closely with front-end teams to ensure seamless integration and high-performing applications.

This role requires a hands-on developer with strong technical expertise in Laravel and PHP, combined with a passion for clean code, scalability, and performance. You will troubleshoot and optimize applications, maintain databases, and contribute to delivering innovative and user-centric solutions within an Agile environment.

Main Activities and Responsibilities:

• Develop, document, and maintain advanced web-based applications and backend systems
• Build innovative, secure, and scalable solutions in collaboration with UX and front-end teams
• Prepare, integrate, and maintain APIs and ensure effective communication between systems
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for speed, security, and scalability
• Participate actively in the application lifecycle, from concept to deployment and maintenance
• Test and maintain core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and reliability
• Collaborate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives) to ensure timely and effective delivery
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-structured code following best practices
• Contribute to process improvements and advocate for best coding standards
• Perform other duties relevant to the role as assigned
  
  

Required Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, coding bootcamp, or equivalent professional experience
• 5+ years of hands-on experience as a PHP Laravel developer.
• Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and software design principles.
• Proficiency in building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Strong experience with relational and non-relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, NoSQL).
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Practical knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, Node.js, and jQuery.
• Experience with Laravel, PHP, API integration, and unit testing.
• Strong analytical, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Passion for clean code, performance optimization, and continuous improvement.
• Knowledge of MetaTrader 4/5 platforms and APIs is a plus.
