
The University of Iowa Health Care, Department of Pharmaceutical Care, is seeking a full-time Senior Pharmacy Technician to join our team! This position provides specialized support to the Ambulatory Care Pharmacies.Under general supervision of a pharmacist, coordinates and performs technical activities in the pharmacy.Under general supervision of a technician supervisor, carries out activities associated with training and coordination of Pharmacy Technician and Pharmacy Student Technician responsibilities.
Position Responsibilities:
Coordinates daily technical functions for assigned work areas.
Provides coverage as needed at both onsite and offsite locations.
Monitors the completion of area audits.
Monitors performance and maintenance of pharmacy equipment.
Participates in inventory management.
Participates in cash collection and reconciliation activities.
Participates in management activities
Position includes all responsibilities performed by Certified Pharmacy Technicians in the Ambulatory Care Pharmacies along with other duties as assigned.

Hours: Typically 8 hour shifts between 0730-1700 M-F, occasional weekends/holidays may be required.
