ABOUT THE JOB
This is an opportunity to work on the Digital Identity platform that acts as an enabler for all NAB’s digital channels and constitutes the InfoSec platform for key initiatives such as Open Banking which signals the first step into the implementation ofCDR here in Australia and will form a blueprint for CDR implementations into other industries in the coming years.
In addition to your strong technical capability, you will be a proven team player, independent thinker and have a collaborative attitude towards your work and colleagues.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and execute performance, load and stress testing for applications and services
Analyseperformance test results toidentifybottlenecks and recommend improvements
Develop andmaintainperformance testing scripts and frameworks
Collaborate with engineering teams tooptimisesystem performance and scalability
Support performance testing within CI/CD pipelines and release processes
Drive continuous improvement of performance testing practices,toolsand standards
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
8+ years’experience in performance testing (load, stress, endurance testing)
Hands-on experience with performance testing tools (e.g.,Gatling, JMeter,or similar)
Proven ability toanalyseperformance results and troubleshoot system bottlenecks
Understanding of system architecture and performance tuning principles
Experience working with APIs and distributed systems
Working knowledge of Linux/Unix environments
NICE-TO-HAVE TECHNICAL SKILLS
Experience with programming and scripting using Java (Spring Boot), Scala, Node.js, Python,SQLor similar technologies
Experience working across cloud platforms, especially AWS services such as ECS, EC2, S3 and RDS
Experience with containerization and CI/CD tooling such as Docker,Jenkinsand Bamboo
Experience in Banking or Financial Services
