Job Description

Title: Senior Performance Marketing Specialist Location: Colombia Lean Tech is a rapidly expanding organization situated in Medellín, Colombia. We pride ourselves on possessing one of the most influential networks within software development and IT services for the entertainment, financial, and logistics sectors. Our corporate projections offer numerous opportunities for professionals to advance their careers and experience substantial growth. Joining our team means engaging with expansive engineering teams across Latin America and the United States, contributing to cutting-edge developments in multiple industries.

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical and results-driven Performance Marketing Specialist to join our Performance Marketing Center of Excellence. Reporting to the E-commerce Growth Marketing Manager for our Growth accounts, this is an exciting opportunity for a strategic, hands-on marketing professional to play a pivotal role in driving the growth of our e-commerce business through data-backed decision-making and high-ROI digital campaigns. In this role, you will be responsible for end-to-end campaign management—from setup to execution, optimization, and analysis—across key e-commerce marketplaces. A strong understanding of US e-commerce ad platforms, especially Amazon and/or Walmart advertising, is essential, as well as fluency in English to collaborate effectively across global teams. To be successful, you must thrive in a smaller, entrepreneurial team environment, be eager to take the next step in your career by building, leading, managing, and mentoring our internal team, and have a passion for tactical execution and leading all aspects of digital marketing. If this sounds like you, we’re excited to meet you. Your responsibilities will include:

  • See. Adapt. React. This is our mantra for marketplace PPC advertising. Stay focused on tracking the marketplaces, including our catalog and competitors. Be nimble and agile by adapting our investment for quick results.
  • Drive customer acquisition and incremental revenue growth through data-driven paid media initiatives.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance metrics (e.g., ROAS, CTR, Conversion Rate) to ensure campaigns meet or exceed goals.
  • Translate insights into clear, actionable strategies and communicate findings to Growth Marketing and Merchant teams.
  • Drive continuous improvement through critical evaluation of existing strategies and implementation of new and creative ideas.
  • Track and report on daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual performance for all channels, including audience and targeting insights, and spend shift recommendations by identifying opportunities for improvement to facilitate conversion and action.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Skills & Experience:

  • +5 years of hands-on experience in performance marketing, with a strong focus on campaign optimizations and performance analysis.
  • Proven experience in U.S. e-commerce marketplace advertising, including platforms like Amazon, Walmart, and others.
  • Demonstrated expertise in SKU-level optimization, not just at the overall campaign level.
  • Hands-on experience with CPC adjustments, keyword targeting, and other key tactics for paid media performance.
  • Experience managing large product catalogs (e.g., 200–300 SKUs) within a single account.
  • Ability to manage and optimize multiple campaigns and accounts simultaneously.
  • Skilled at working within limited budgets to achieve maximum ROI.
  • Strong analytical abilities, with a proven ability to translate complex data into actionable business strategies.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to manipulate and analyze large datasets.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Clear and confident presentation and communication abilities, especially when reporting insights and recommendations.
  • Strong time management, multi-tasking, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for performance-driven growth.
  • Prioritization & communication of project progress
