YOUR MISSION.

As our Senior Performance Marketing Manager, you will own our paid acquisition engine. Google Ads is your core focus, Meta is your second pillar, and you'll bring a test-and-learn mindset to new and emerging channels such as ChatGPT ads. Your mission is to put our courses in front of the right prospects at the right moment and to turn that attention into qualified leads.

Your Responsibilities:

Google Ads:

• Channel ownership: Take full end-to-end ownership of our Google Ads accounts across Search, Performance Max, YouTube, and Demand Gen, from strategy and structure through to daily optimization.
• Campaign strategy: Build and scale campaigns for our full course portfolio, including new course launches, balancing volume, lead quality, and cost efficiency.
• Bidding and budget management: Manage budgets and bidding strategies against clear CPL and cost-per-enrollment targets, making confident calls on where to scale and where to pull back.
• Conversion tracking: Ensure tracking, offline conversion imports, and attribution are set up correctly, so the algorithms optimize for real enrollments, not just form fills.
• Agency collaboration: Work with our external agency partners and Google representatives, holding them to high standards and getting the most out of the relationship.

Meta Ads:

• Paid social: Plan, launch, and optimize Meta (Facebook and Instagram) campaigns across prospecting and retargeting.
• Creative testing: Work with our design and content teams to brief, test, and iterate ad creatives based on performance data.

Channel Testing & Innovation:

• New channels: Identify, test, and evaluate emerging paid channels such as ChatGPT ads, Microsoft Advertising, LinkedIn, and Reddit, with clear hypotheses and success criteria.
• Experimentation: Run a structured testing roadmap across channels, audiences, landing pages, and creatives, and share learnings with the wider team.

Data, CRM & AI Workflows:

• Performance reporting: Track, analyze, and report on paid performance across the full funnel, from impression to enrollment, and translate numbers into clear recommendations for management.
• HubSpot CRM: Use HubSpot to connect ad spend to lead quality and enrollment outcomes, working with the Admissions team to close the feedback loop.
• AI and automation: Build AI-powered workflows and automations that streamline reporting, audits, creative iteration, and campaign management.
• Cross-team coordination: Collaborate with SEO, content, CRO, and program teams to align paid strategy with course launches and broader campaign activity.

YOUR SKILLS.

MUST HAVE:

• Experience & Technical Skills: 4+ years of hands-on performance marketing experience, with Google Ads as your primary channel.
• Proven track record of managing significant budgets and scaling campaigns profitably, ideally in lead generation, education, or B2C services.
• Experienced with Meta Ads and some experience with HubSpot CRM (or a comparable CRM) and using CRM data to optimize campaigns.
• Strong grasp of conversion tracking, GA4, Google Tag Manager, and attribution.
• Genuine interest in AI and hands-on experience building workflows or automations (for example with Make, Zapier, n8n, or AI assistants).
• Native-level German: essential for writing and optimizing German-language campaigns and understanding nuanced search intent. Additionally, C1 level in English (written and spoken): essential for collaboration with our international team.
