The purpose of this role is tolead andmanagethe paid media performance portfolio whichcomprise of mediachannels including Paid Search, Paid Social, Display and Programmatic, be responsible for the execution of the strategyandplanning,communication andperformance of client KPIs;andmaintain adherence to deadlines and best practices.
At its core, the role of theSenior Performance Manageris to plan and implement paid media campaigns across all relevant biddable media channels / platforms to achieve thebusiness goals andobjectivesof ourclients. This will require a strong channel knowledge and ability toidentifyopportunities to drive new media initiativesand client business outcomes.The role will include management and oversight of a team of performance specialists.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
Strategic Performance Marketing
Responsible for media planning and activation acrossPaid Search, Social, Programmatic, Display– with ability to build, manage,optimiseand troubleshoot varied campaigns that span the marketing funnel.
Demonstrate advancedPerformance knowledgeandexpertiseonPaid Search, Paid Social, Programmatic and Displayplatforms and building relationships with key partners.
Develop and foster an effective working relationship with key media vendors and partners, stay at the forefront of new features and innovations, and ensure we deliver best in class campaigns. This includesidentifyingpotential alpha / beta tests.
Build an understanding of the client’s business and digital marketingobjectivesthat should inform how paid media strategy and plans are built.
Be comfortable and confident manipulating large data sets accurately, providing meaningful and actionable insights to optimise for client KPIs, andbuilding informed forecasts of performance outcomes.
Utilise exceptional communication skills to effectively liaise with both internal and external stakeholders.
Leading the team of performance specialists to ensure end to end campaign delivery, ensuring that all team deliverables are up-to-date andaccurateby required deadlines (reports, plans, billings, PCAs, etc.)
Requirements
Minimum 6-8yearsexperiencewithin Performance Marketingroles, responsible for planning and achieving performance related targets
Proven knowledgeand hands on experience withPaid Search(mandatory), Paid Social, Programmatic and Displaychannels, including hands on experience with platforms such as:
Paid Search: Google Ads, Google SA360[Required], Microsoft Bing
Paid Social Meta, LinkedIn
Programmatic: DV360
Display: Managed service vendors
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Strong Analytical Skills and Knowledge in performance measurementplatformsandanalyticstools– Google CM360, Google/Adobe Analytics
A proven record with large, complex campaigns
Clear verbal and written communication skills, includinga high levelof English grammar
Strong client-facing skills: understanding client needs,maintainingrelationships, building partnershipsand ability to lead meetings both internally and externally in relation toperformance,activationand delivery.
Enthusiastic and confident individual with the ability to interact well with people on a personal and professional level and to thrive in a fast-paced,high pressureenvironment.
