Job Description

About Vibe

At Vibe.co, we’re reimagining how brands reach audiences in the age of streaming. We believe streaming TV is no longer just a brand awareness play — it’s the next great performance marketing channel. We’re building the infrastructure to unlock this $100B opportunity.

Vibe.co provides an Audience First Streaming TV Advertising solution for marketers to unlock TV as a growth channel. Our all-in-one solution combines hyper-targeted audience segmentation, AI-powered insights and recommendations, real-time campaign optimization, and incrementality measurement — giving brands of all sizes the precision and transparency they’ve come to expect from social and search, but on TV.

Trusted by over 10,000 brands, Vibe.co reaches more than 120 million households across 500+ apps and channels, delivering an average 250% return on ad spend and 20% sales lift. The company hit a $100 million revenue run rate in under two years, ranking among the ten fastest software companies to reach that milestone.

Vibe.co’s investors include Hedosophia (an early backer of Spotify, Uber, and Airbnb), Elaia, Singular, QuantumLight (Revolut CEO Nik Storonsky’s fund), and Illusian (Supercell CEO Ilkka Paananen’s fund), as well as angel investors including Carolyn Everson, board member of The Walt Disney Company and Coca-Cola. Nirav Tolia, CEO of Nextdoor, sits on the company’s board of directors.

Founded in 2022, Vibe.co is widely recognized as the category-defining platform in streaming TV advertising, bringing the power of Meta and Google-style performance marketing to the fastest-growing segment in media.

About the Role

You’ll join the People team as our first dedicated HR Operations hire in France, reporting to the CHRO.

This role has two scopes: France and the rest of the world (a part from the US at first). Locally, you’ll own every operational detail of French HR. Internationally, you’ll be the single point of contact for all employees hired through Employer of Record agreements. This role will also be essential in implementing AI and automation to eliminate manual work across both scopes.

Excited to build the operational backbone of a high-growth company that spans Paris, New York, and a growing global footprint? This is the role for you.

What You’ll Do

French Payroll & Compliance

  • Prepare all French payroll inputs and submit them to the external accounting firm on schedule

  • Review and validate payroll outputs — bulletins de paie, DSN declarations, URSSAF contributions — before they go final

  • Ensure compliance with the applicable convention collective across compensation, leave, and working time

  • Manage prévoyance, mutuelle, and titres restaurant administration for all French employees

  • Own audit-readiness for URSSAF controls and other regulatory inspections

  • Coordinate with local legal counsel on French employment matters as they arise

Global EOR Management

  • Serve as Vibe’s primary operational contact for all Employer of Record providers worldwide

  • Coordinate onboarding, contracts, amendments, and offboarding for EOR-employed team members across multiple countries

  • Prepare and validate payroll inputs for each EOR jurisdiction, ensuring accuracy and timeliness

  • Review EOR invoices and payroll outputs to catch discrepancies before they reach employees

  • Track local compliance requirements surfaced by EOR providers and escalate issues to the CHRO or legal counsel

  • Keep HRIS records for EOR employees as accurate and complete as for direct hires

Employee Lifecycle

  • Run onboarding for France and EOR hires: employment contracts, DPAE, benefits enrollment, system setup

  • Administer contract amendments and offboarding procedures

  • Serve as first point of contact for employee questions on pay, leave, benefits, and policies

  • Monitor French employee headcount thresholds and support CSE setup and administration when triggered

Systems & Data

  • Own the HRIS as the single source of truth for all French and EOR employee data

  • Maintain data integrity, run reports, and ensure the system reflects reality at all times

  • Manage the relationship with the accounting firm and EOR providers — you’re the internal quality gate

Automation & AI

  • Identify repetitive HR ops tasks and automate them — document generation, onboarding checklists, data reconciliation

  • Evaluate and pilot AI-assisted tools for payroll anomaly detection, employee query triage, and reporting

  • Bring a power-user mindset: prompt, configure, test, iterate — no engineering degree required

Cross-coverage

  • Partner with the US-based HR Ops Specialist to ensure continuity across all jurisdictions

  • Provide backup support on US HR operations during absences or peak periods

What You Need

  • 4+ years of HR operations experience in France, ideally in a tech or high-growth environment

  • Hands-on experience preparing French payroll inputs and validating outputs — you know DSN inside-out, you’ve reconciled URSSAF charges, and you’ve caught errors before they became problems

  • Solid grasp of Labor Law and Collective Bargaining Agreements — not just theory, but day-to-day application to real employee situations

  • HRIS administration experience with real ownership: configuring workflows, maintaining data integrity, running reports — bonus if you’ve led a system migration or implementation

  • Experience managing relationships with external payroll providers, accounting firms, or EOR platforms — you know how to hold an external partner to a high standard

  • Comfort building light automations in tools like Zapier, Make, or native HRIS workflow builders — and genuine curiosity about applying AI to operational work

  • Fully fluent English to coordinate daily with your US and RoW colleagues

Nice to Haves

  • Direct experience working with one or more EOR providers (e.g., Deel, Remote, Rippling, Oyster) across multiple countries

  • Experience navigating CSE elections and setup from scratch

  • Familiarity with US HR operations, employment law, or payroll basics — enough to provide backup coverage for our New York team

  • Prior experience building an HR ops function from scratch at a scaling company

What We Offer

For candidates in Paris, the pay range for this role is €47,000 to €63,000. For candidates elsewhere, compensation is determined based on local market levels.

At Vibe, we want you to build something, own something, and grow fast. Here’s how we back that up:

  • Equity — Employee Stock Ownership Plan. You’re building this; you should own part of it.

  • Variable pay — based on objectives you hit. No arbitrary targets.

  • Hybrid flexibility — We’re in the Heart of Paris and our team is in 3x a week!

  • Health insurance — Full coverage via Alan.

  • Meal vouchers — Via Swile.

  • Annual offsite — The whole team, once a year, somewhere worth the trip.

  • Tech Syncs — Engineering and Product meet in person at least quarterly, worldwide.

Our Interview Process

We respect your time. Here’s exactly what to expect — no surprises, no ghosting.

  1. Recruiter screen — 30 min. We’ll share context; you’ll share yours.

  2. Manager interview — Meet the person you’d work with directly.

  3. Take-home assignment + live debrief — A real problem, not a trick. We’ll work through it together.

  4. Calibration interview — A senior leader joins to ensure we’re holding a consistent, high bar.

  5. Offer — Fast. We don’t let good decisions sit.

Equal Opportunity

Vibe is an equal opportunity employer. We evaluate all applicants without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, age, disability, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.

We believe the best ideas come from teams with different backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences. If you need a reasonable accommodation during the application or interview process, please let us know.
