We are looking for experienced Senior People and Payroll Specialist who can bring strong expertise in People and Payroll processes, handle more complex service needs independently, and contribute to developing high-quality services across the countries, while supporting the shift from manual work to self-service and automation.

About the role

As a Senior People and Payroll Specialist, you will ensure reliable, accurate and high-quality People and Payroll services for our internal customers. You will handle more complex employee and manager service requests independently, with a strong focus on customer centricity and first contact resolution.

You will work at the intersection of People services and payroll, contributing to smooth daily operations as well as process development, quality assurance, compliance follow-up and also some projects. You may also be involved in more demanding change situations, such as mergers or reorganizations, where strong process understanding, data accuracy and collaboration across stakeholders are essential.

As part of the senior role, you will coach and support colleagues and managers by sharing expertise on processes, tools, complex cases, labor law and collective agreement topics. This may include guiding colleagues in case handling, helping interpret process instructions, sharing best practices and acting as a trusted sparring partner in People and Payroll related matters.

The position is located in Gdansk, Poland. We work flexibly in a hybrid model that supports both personal and professional needs.

About you

You already have strong experience in either People Services or Payroll, and you are curious to broaden your competence by learning more about the other area. To succeed in this role, you are a customer-oriented and service-minded professional who enjoys working with both operational tasks and takin part of development activities. You are accurate, efficient and able to prioritize independently based on business needs. You collaborate well with others, take ownership of your responsibilities and are motivated by continuous learning and improving the employee experience. You have:

• More than 5 years of experience in People Services, HR, payroll or a similar role.
• Advanced level of knowledge in People SAP and solid experience in time management or benefits related systems including leading systems integrations.
• Proven experience working with Polish labor law and employment regulations is required as well as handling mergers or reorganizations from HR side independently.
• Fluent in Polish and English languages, any Nordic language is an advantage.
• Ability to handle complex employee and manager service requests independently and with good judgement.
• Experience in coaching, guiding or mentoring colleagues and managers in People, payroll, labor law or collective agreement related topics, for example by supporting case handling, explaining process steps, sharing tool knowledge or helping managers understand relevant employment-related requirements and processes.
• Ability to ensure accurate and compliant payroll and master data maintenance in collaboration of external payroll providers and internal stakeholders.
• You can organize your own work and you have good communication and collaboration skills
• Interest and skills to support automatization and digitalization of our processes
