General Position Summary:
The Senior Payroll Specialist’s primary responsibility is to ensure data accuracy in relation to payroll processing. This position will serve as a resource for multiple companies within the Radius Recycling umbrella and should demonstrate proficiency in timeliness, communication and building positive inter-department relationships. They should promote process enhancement and best practices in a team environment.

Compensation Range $30.00 - $33.00 per hour
Essential Functions:
Administer weekly and bi-weekly payroll processing through UKG systems while retrieving and validating timeclock data from Kronos to ensure general accuracy.

This role requires multi-channel communication across all organizational levels, from entry-level staff to executive leadership, through telephone, written correspondence, and in-person interactions. Responsibilities include addressing routine inquiries as well as complex discussions regarding company policies and procedures. External communication encompasses diverse stakeholders including prospective candidates, government regulatory agencies, legal counsel, consultants, and fellow HR professionals through various communication channels.
Job Conditions:
The Payroll Team is currently working remotely with scheduled days in the corporate headquarters (Portland, Oregon) up to four times per month. Schedule is subject to change based on business needs or requirements.
Physical Activities Required to Perform Essential Functions:
Ability to: Sit for extended periods of time, up to 6-8 hours per day; write by hand and/or keyboard for extended periods of time, up to 6-8 hours per day; bend at waist, twist upper body, stand, walk, and negotiate uneven surfaces; assemble papers, staple, and file; apply sufficient force to open and close file drawers. Ability to: communicate both by phone and in person in a professional manner. Visual acuity needed for close detail work. Adaptability to change within a growing organization.
