As a Senior Payroll and Benefits Analyst, you will be responsible for timely and accurate benefits administration as well as delivery of payrolls across a number of our European locations including (but not limited to) Armenia, Ukraine and Switzerland.
The successful candidate will possess a strong knowledge of payroll compliance and legislation. Duties will include payroll and benefits account maintenance, absences accrual and reporting, being the go-to person for all pay and benefit queries. This position is full-time (40 hours per week) and is based in Cluj-Napoca, Romania.
Responsibilities:
Payroll and Benefits Administration:
Payroll Administration – responsible for payroll administration working to published deadlines. This includes collating data for the monthly payroll, submission to the payroll company and ensuring payroll is properly authorized prior to payment.
Benefits Administration – responsible for administering benefit packages: associates enrollment/cancellations, orders and invoicing.
Manage the relationship with our global payroll system provider
First point of contact for associate queries and any issues related to payroll and benefits
HR Administration:
Monthly tracking and reporting of absences
Report on the information requested by local authorities (statistics, medical leaves declaration)
Responsible for annual payroll audits for internal and external auditors
Issue employee pay certificates
Your profile:
Minimum 5 years of payroll and HR administration experience
Bachelor’s Degree level required
Needs to be able to demonstrate high level of numeracy, analytical skills and good written and verbal communication skills in English
Excellent organizational, prioritization and time management skills to deal with strict deadlines
Excellent analytical, interpersonal and business communication skills
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
High level of attention to detail and accuracy, able to work in a neat, methodical fashion, keeping detailed records for audit purposes
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while balancing operational needs
Ability to constructively interact with stakeholders
A demonstrated creative and collaborative approach
Intermediate Excel competency
Flexible attitude and a good team player
