Job Description

Principal Accountabilities:

  1. Manage a payroll administrator, provide training and coaching to team members and assists in monitoring workloads and high standards of work, quality and organizational performance is achieved
  1. Ensure that TEAM remains in compliance with all local payroll regulations.
  1. Ensure that internal key control are effective and actively performed.
  1. Collaborate and request legal consultation when necessary.
  1. Collaborate and work closely with HR and accounting teams.
  1. Ensure the processing of new hires, transfers and promotions is accurate and timely, in line with the correct authority requirements.
  1. Working as part of the team to carry out a wide range of payroll tasks including but not limited to:
    • Preparing and managing Europe employee’s payroll
    • Collecting accurate payroll related data
    • Ensuring appropriate approval of employee pay elements
    • Salary sheet and report creation
    • Submission of payment authorisation or payment file to accounting to meet payroll deadlines
    • General ledger payroll booking information provided to accounting team within agreed deadlines
    • Monthly and end of year external reporting requirements
    • Collaborate with the HR team to ensure alignment and compliance of systems and data, maintaining and updating all data associated with payroll
    • Assisting the Financial Controller with reporting tasks and audit/compliance related activity
    • Provide support with payroll queries to the wider business, which may include attending meetings to clarify payroll-related queries and address payroll-associated issues
  1. To be flexible and carry out any duties within your skills and capabilities to support the payroll team and the wider business
  2. Ensure full support for the payroll function is provided to ensure accurate and timely processes are followed to meet payroll deadlines
  3. Ensure all relevant information is processed, approved, stored and maintained correctly and compliantly to meet internal control and procedure requirements
  4. Key point of contact for external payroll support providers
