  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate closely with Technology, Operations, Sales, Legal, Compliance, and Risk teams to ensure product features are developed, implemented, and delivered in line with regulatory requirements and business objectives.
  • Regulatory & Compliance: Ensure all payment products comply with Canadian payment regulations (e.g., Payments Canada rules, FINTRAC) and internal Citi policies. Actively monitor regulatory changes and adapt product strategies accordingly.
  • Commercialization & Go-to-Market: Develop compelling value propositions, pricing strategies, and go-to-market plans in close coordination with Sales teams to drive revenue growth and market adoption of Canada Payment products.
  • Performance Management: Monitor and analyze product performance metrics, revenue drivers, and client satisfaction, taking corrective actions as needed to achieve financial and strategic goals.
  • Innovation: Drive innovation within the Canadian payment space, exploring new technologies (e.g., Open Banking, AI-driven payments) and strategic partnerships to enhance Citi's offering.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 10+ years of product management experience within financial services, with a significant focus on payments.
  • Payment Product Knowledge: Proven expertise in a broad range of payment products (e.g. Merchant Acquiring, Commercial Cards, ACSS, Wires, Instant Payments, Cross-Border Payments).
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to define clear product vision and strategy, translating complex market dynamics into actionable product roadmaps.
  • Communication & Influence: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly to diverse audiences (clients, senior management, technical teams).
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, influence stakeholders without direct authority, and drive consensus.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree (MBA) or relevant professional certifications preferred.
