Job Description

The Senior Payable Accountant is co-responsible for all payment topics of Sandoz Vietnam, which include payment; cash management; and support in ad-hoc requests/ projects from finance perspective. This role is a single contact point of employees and suppliers on payment matters.

As the Senior Payable Accountant, you are co-responsible for all payment topics of Sandoz Vietnam, which include payment; cash management; and support in ad-hoc requests/ projects from finance perspective.

Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Review payable & payment documents including payment to vendors and employees on daily basis to ensure compliance with company policies, tax regulations and accounting standards.
  • Ensure payable document are fully archived for internal and external audit.
  • Review GR/IR balance report to identify abnormal transaction.
  • Corporate with reporting team in monthly and year-end closing activities for both IFRS and local GAAP.
  • Monthly VAT input & output reconciliation and day-to-day indirect tax advisory
  • Frequent training payment process to vendor & employee.
  • Research, analyse, and resolve complex account payable and vendor-related issues.
  • Initiative and proactive solution towards payment automation, continuous improvement of processes.

Role Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting; professional certifications such as ACCA or CIMA are a strong advantage.
  • Proficient in both English and Vietnamese, with strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • 3-5 years’ experience as a Payables Accountant within a multinational company, preferably operating under a shared service model.
  • Prior experience in the pharmaceutical or FMCG industry is highly desirable.
