and Purpose:
Education:
- Bible or Theology degree at undergraduate level or higher
- Credentialed and licensed by the C&MA or working toward it/willing to work toward it
Pastoral Experience:
- 3 - 5 years ministry experience as an associate or lead pastor
- A demonstrated commitment to the spiritual growth and health of the local church
Ministry Strengths:
- Biblical Teaching/Preaching
- Solid, biblically based teaching and preaching
- Doctrinally sound, including a firm belief in the inerrancy and authority of Scripture
- Evangelism
- Leadership & Ministry Development
- Able to lead as well as help others develop leadership skills
- Empowers others to lead in their own gifting and ministry areas
- Community Involvement and Teamwork
- Have a presence in the community
- Relates well to others in one on one, small group, and large group settings.

Family:
- Single or married
- If married, wife is willing to participate in church life. She is free to use her gifts and abilities as she believes God is leading her, whether within or outside the local church
- Be willing and adaptable to living in a small town
