Job Description

We are seeking a Strategic Partnerships Manager to join Clarivate at Bangalore location and play a key role in strengthening our market position through high impact channel partnerships including agents and resellers. This role focuses on leading complex partnership negotiations, developing long term collaboration strategies, and managing partnerships throughout their lifecycle to drive sustainable growth and commercial advantage.

You will work with cross-functional teams, notably Legal and Sales to ensure partnership initiatives align with Clarivate’s broader business objectives while identifying new opportunities that support innovation and expansion.

About You (Education, Experience, Skills, and Accomplishments)

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in partnerships, alliances, channels management or a similar business development role
  • Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills with experience handling complex, high value agreements
  • Ability to think strategically and execute tactically in a global environment
  • Excellent communication, relationship building, and presentation skills
  • Experience of managing contracts would be ideal.
  • Experience of Life Sciences would be ideal.

What Will You Be Doing in This Role?

  • Proactively identify and lead complex partnership negotiations and secure high value agreements aligned with business objectives while ensuring adherence to established SLAs
  • Develop and execute long term partnership strategies that foster sustained growth, collaboration, and mutual value working with our Sales, Product and Consulting teams
  • Build, cultivate, and maintain strong relationships with key partners to ensure successful outcomes and long-term engagement
  • Manage contract initiations and negotiations with support from the Legal team
  • Conduct regular business updates with Sales leadership to provide insights and proposals relating to the role of channel partners
  • Maintain integrity and good governance including training resources and the approval flow of commissions
  • Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and market dynamics to continuously refine partnership strategies
  • Provide regular status updates, insights, and performance reports to senior leadership, including recommendations for improvement and optimization

About the team

This role operates within a globally distributed team, working in close partnership with cross‑functional stakeholders worldwide.

Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, primarily working core business hours with flexibility to collaborate across global time zones as required (Monday- Friday)
