Job Description

Clio is the global leader in legal AI technology, empowering legal professionals and law firms of every size to work smarter, faster, and more securely.

We are transforming the legal experience for all by bettering the lives of legal professionals while increasing access to justice.

Summary:

We are seeking a strategic, highly collaborative Senior Partner Marketing Manager in Vancouver, Calgary or Toronto to help shape the future of our partner marketing and drive scalable growth across some of our most strategic partnerships.

As a Senior Partner Marketing Manager, you'll serve as the strategic marketing lead for one of Clio's highest-impact partner portfolios, partnering closely with Business Development and senior cross-functional leaders to develop long-term go-to-market strategies that strengthen partner engagement, accelerate customer acquisition, and create measurable business growth.

This role sits at the intersection of marketing strategy, business strategy, and operational excellence. You'll not only lead integrated marketing programs but also influence how Clio builds, measures, and scales its partner marketing capability. You'll identify new opportunities, establish repeatable frameworks, mentor teammates, and help shape the Partner Marketing organization's future operating model.

If you're energized by solving complex business challenges, influencing without authority, and building scalable systems that drive long-term impact, we'd love to meet you.

What your team does:

The Strategic Engagement team builds meaningful connections between Clio, our customers, and our broader partner network to accelerate business growth.

Our team leads the strategy and execution behind Clio's partner marketing programs, industry partnerships, customer engagement initiatives, flagship events, webinars, community programming, and partner go-to-market initiatives. We collaborate across Marketing, Business Development, Channel Partnerships, Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Executive Leadership to ensure every partnership and program delivers measurable business impact.

As Clio's partner network continues to grow, we're building a modern Partner Marketing organization focused on creating repeatable, scalable programs that strengthen partnerships and drive long-term business success.

Who you are:

You're a strategic thinker who naturally connects business objectives with marketing execution.

You enjoy tackling ambiguity, designing scalable solutions, and helping organizations work smarter. You're equally comfortable developing executive-level strategy, leading cross-functional initiatives, and rolling up your sleeves to drive execution when needed.

You're known as someone who brings structure to complexity, builds trusted relationships across teams, and helps others succeed through coaching and collaboration.

You actively explore new technologies—including AI—to improve planning, research, workflow automation, content development, decision making, and operational efficiency. You understand that the future of marketing is increasingly powered by intelligent systems, and you're excited to help shape how our team works.

What you'll work on:

  • Own the long-term go-to-market strategy for one of Clio's most strategic partner portfolios, translating commercial priorities into integrated marketing programs that drive measurable business impact.
  • Partner with senior Business Development leaders to understand strategy, annual planning, and investment priorities, and shape the marketing response to them.
  • Develop annual marketing roadmaps and integrated campaigns that strengthen partner engagement, accelerate customer acquisition, and support partnership growth.
  • Lead highly cross-functional initiatives across Marketing, Product, Sales, Customer Success, Creative, Demand Generation, Lifecycle Marketing, and Executive Leadership.
  • Establish scalable planning frameworks, operating processes, playbooks, and governance that improve organizational effectiveness across the Partner Marketing team.
  • Analyze marketing performance, identify emerging trends, and develop strategic recommendations that improve partner engagement, marketing effectiveness, and business outcomes.
  • Mentor peers and other Partner Marketing Managers by sharing best practices, coaching through complex initiatives, and helping elevate team capability.
  • Champion the adoption of AI-enabled tools and modern marketing technologies to improve planning, research, campaign development, reporting, operational efficiency, and decision-making while promoting responsible AI practices across the team.
  • Represent Partner Marketing in executive planning discussions, quarterly business reviews, and cross-functional strategic initiatives.
  • Support strategic organizational priorities and help evolve Clio's partner marketing capability as new partnership motions emerge.

What you may have:

  • 7+ years of experience in B2B SaaS marketing, partner marketing, product marketing, integrated marketing, strategic marketing, or go-to-market strategy.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Demonstrated success in developing long-term marketing strategies that influence business growth and executive decision-making.
  • Experience leading highly complex cross-functional initiatives involving multiple business functions and senior stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and business acumen with experience translating data into strategic recommendations.
  • Exceptional executive communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
  • Experience building repeatable processes, frameworks, or operating models that improve organizational effectiveness.
  • Demonstrated experience mentoring teammates or serving as a technical leader within a marketing organization.
  • Experience leveraging AI-powered tools to improve strategic planning, workflow automation, marketing operations, analysis, content development, and business productivity.

Serious bonus points if you have:

  • Experience leading go-to-market strategy for Channel, ISV, Technology, Marketplace, Strategic Alliance, Referral, or other partner marketing programs.
  • Experience developing annual planning processes, business reviews, and executive reporting frameworks.
  • Experience with Salesforce, PRM platforms, marketing automation platforms, analytics tools, project management software, and AI-enabled productivity platforms.
  • Familiarity with the legal technology industry.

This role is a backfill for an existing position.
